With its “less is more” looks this is the ultimate example of great Dutch design.
The cricket – De Krekel in Dutch – was designed in 1960 by Otto Wach. It just consists of a tube and two pins. Combined with the reflector lamp (which is of course included in the purchase) this lamp is just as elegant as it is effective.
