Op-Art Set of Three Wooden Panels with Black and White Reliëf Geometric Patterns
These three works in op-art style have been made in the second half of the twentieth century. The artist used plaster to create relief on the wooden panels. Through these heights and depths that have alternately been made black and white an optical (moving) illusion – also known as a psychedelic effect – was achieved. The artist did not (visibly) sign the works, but the works are numbered probably for an exposition or gallery.
One of the works is 42.5 x 42.5 cm (16.7 x 16.7 inch). The other two are 37.5 (width) x 42.5 (14.8 x 16.7 inch).
